About me

Dani DeLade was born in Wayne, New Jersey in 1985. Dani received her Masters from School of Visual Arts and is a Licensed Creative Art Therapist who has experience working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS, the homeless,  adults with mental illness and traumatized children. Currently Dani works with families at a domestic violence shelter.  Dani is an activist and socially conscious artist who works predominately in collage, drawing on her many years of experience working at non-profit organizations.   Dani is influenced by many human rights and social justice issues exploring these subjects in her art.

Dani also believes that it is important to play when it comes to art and enjoys adding in whimsical elements. Dani has been living in Brooklyn, NY for the past 6 years enjoys going to the park with her dog, Potato.
